We may need to eliminate other foods later, but this is where we begin because these are the usual culprits for causing issues with in the body.
Why do we eliminate foods, what is the benefit of this diet, and how do we know what to eliminate?
As we eat a typical American diet, we begin to feel sluggish, have more allergies, develop brain fog, and so much more. These issues are many times caused by leaky gut or an over taxed and toxified liver. When this occurs, our bodies can not function at its best and many times our body breaks down and we develop DIS-ease. By eliminating the biggest culprits that cause more inflammation and foods that does not provide any benefits to the body, you can begin to heal the gut and therefore heal the side effects that come with it. There may be times we need to eliminate other foods, but 80% of the time this will help to bring balance and healing.
Our first step is always to go through 28 To Elevate. If you have come to this page before finishing the 28 To Elevate, then go back and do it first so you can have your mind and body ready for this cleanse.
Once you have gotten through the 28 To Elevate course with the 5 day cleanse and about a week of your colon cleansing trio supplements, we will begin the elimination diet you will be working with over the next 2 months.

Elimination Diet Basics:
With this diet plan, you will be allowing the liver to begin to release and move toxins out of the body. You don't want to overdo on any other these foods, but we want to keep balance.
Basic elimination diet musts:
*No Gluten
*No Sugar (this is no white granulated sugar)
* honey, maple syrup Grade B, or stevia is fine before 2pm)
*No Dairy (Can use unsweetened Almond Milk and non dairy cheese - Daiya is our favorite brand)
These 3 things have the biggest impact on your gut and inflammation. You will see a huge difference in how you feel and the energy levels when you get off these things. There is a learning curve with this so give yourself some grace. This is why the 28 to Elevate is so helpful. It will walk you through making healthier choices and cutting things out of your cabinets a little at a time.
1 Fruit (includes berries like strawberries, blueberries, raspberry)
1 healthy fat (this includes avocados, walnuts, seeds, olive oil)
Snacks:
You can have a fruit with protein (always make sure you have a protein source when you eat fruit to keep a balanced blood sugar level).
You can do dairy free cheese (Daiya has a good brand that we enjoy).
Eat lots of colors and variety in your vegetables.
Limit potatoes
You CAN have sweet potatoes
Avoid Corn and other starchy vegetables
If you need inspiration for meals, look on Pinterest under Gluten free, vegetarian, keto friendly, and dairy free. There are some good recipes out there.
The purpose of the lemon water is to bring the pH into balance quickly. Whether you are highly alkaline or low into the acidic level, this will bring about balance.
NOTE: The lemon water is made with fresh lemons. Don't use bottled lemon juice. Do not put them in the fridge. Leave them on the counter.
Why Fresh lemons?
Lemons start off as an acid and then once it enters the body, it turns to alkaline. It is the only food that has this ability. But once the lemon has set for a time, the change from acid to alkaline has already happened, so your body will not receive the benefit from this action.
Water: Use distilled water when making your lemon water as well or filtered water.
10 oz of water with one fresh squeezed lemon
Can add 1 tbsp of maple syrup Grade B if you like (but only until 2pm)
Drink 10oz of lemon mixture the top of every hour (ex. 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am)
On every 1/2 hour drink one cup of water. (ex. 8:30 am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30)
Drink this all day from 8am through 8pm.
Getting in 1/2 your body weight in water each day
Half of your water needs to be lemon water.
If you are busy and miss a few, that is fine. You will do this for about 2 weeks just to balance out the pH.
