CONSULTATION OFFICE: Balancing the Endocrine System: AKA Hormones
Overview of: Finding Balance in An Unbalanced Body: The Endocrine System Edition
Hormones affect every single cell of the body. They tell us when to wake up and when to go to sleep. They tell us when to eat and when to stop eating. They dictate how we will respond to stress, joy, and fear.

The Endocrine system
Hi and welcome to our Endocrine, AKA hormones, interactive. I am Mari Handley, and I will be your host. Hormones are such an important thing in our lives. It is so important that we learn about the systems of our bodies so we can better care for ourselves. Our bodies are intricately made and there are so many different small things that can become out of balance and throw us out of whack. So, I am here to help you navigate this world of hormones and find some much-needed answers you may be looking for.

I have included some homework for you to do before we get started on the Jan 3. This is just to help me see where we are beginning and help you find answers faster. With this information, I can curate an interactive that will be more aligned with where you are headed in your goals for the year. I like to bring as much relevant value to the table as possible.

So, take a few moments and really think about the questions and what you are answering. Think about what you want to see happen in your life this coming year. I cannot wait to help you find the new you in this coming new year.

I am happy you are here and I cannot wait to serve you. Please reach out if you need me or have any questions.

Lesson 1: Feeling tired, moody, or out of balance? This is for you!

Hormones are messengers in your body that regulate metabolism, growth, development, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep, and mood. With all of these responsibilities, they can also contribute to a plethora of issues if any detail is out of whack: migraines, insomnia, weak bones, weight gain, hot flashes, mood swings, infertility, our ability to handle stress, and low libido.

Over time, out-of-balance hormones can lead to rapid aging and increased risk of disease.  In this lesson, we will talk through some of these issues and what we can do to improve your endocrine balance.

Lesson 2: Lesson 2: Finding Balance in An Unbalanced Body: Emotions, Libido, and fertility

Today I go into a lot of detail on how we can create change in our life through simple steps. It is time to take control of your emotions, hormones, and life. Are you ready to have more energy and feel better in your own skin? Let me show you some things I have done personally.

Lesson 3: Finding Balance in An Unbalanced Body: The Weight edition
How do your hormones effect your weight efforts? And what can you do about it? Let's dig in!

Hormone testing can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Fifteen hormones that are off one month may be normal the next (and a new set may be off later). At the very least, you can get testing done to see what your estrogen and progesterone levels are.

If there are imbalances with estrogen, it can lead to problems such as: increased fat storage, fluid retention, dry skin, severe premenstrual or menopausal symptoms, irregular menstruation, low sex drive, fatigue, mood changes, sleeping problems, or even risks of cancer.

Today we will take all these things apart and begin seeking answers to many questions about unwanted weight gain for you.
