Unlock the Power of the Visera Scan!

The Visera Scan is a powerful wellness tool that reveals which systems are under stress —

Your sneak peek at what’s going on inside the body

Start at the Home Screen- Biomarkers

What is a Biomarker? Most folks have never heard of a biomarker before.

But they’re the key to understanding what this scan is actually measuring.

Biomarkers are digital representations of organs, glands, systems, emotions, and lifestyle factors (like sleep or toxins).
The scan compares your unique results to your baseline and shows us which biomarkers are out of range and need support.

Tap on the Biomarker tile inside the app and you’ll see helpful definitions right there on the screen.

As we go through the scan results together, we’ll dig into what’s actually out of range and how to bring it back into balance — naturally.

Heart Rate & Heart Rate Variability
This is the one of the first places where people realize just how personal this scan really is.

Most of the time I hear: "How does it know that?!"

That’s because Visera is using your phone’s camera and smart algorithms to pick up your heart rate in real time — just like a smartwatch or fitness ring would.

The number you see here is your resting heart rate.
For most adults, 60–100 beats per minute is considered normal. Lots of things affect this — from caffeine, stress, or alcohol, to medications or lack of sleep.

Tip: If a client’s heart rate is on the high or low end, ask:
  • “How have you been sleeping lately?”
  • “Have you had caffeine, alcohol, or any meds today?”
  • “Are you feeling anxious or under pressure right now?”

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) HRV tells us how well your body is adapting to stress.

A higher HRV means your nervous system is flexible and resilient. A lower HRV might mean your body is stuck in “fight or flight” mode. This number is deeply tied to lifestyle habits — like rest, recovery, and how much stress you're carrying.

Questions to ask if HRV is low:
  • “Are you feeling burned out or emotionally drained lately?”
  • “Do you make time for stillness, prayer, or meditation?”
  • “How’s your water intake, sleep, and movement been this week?”

Encourage your clients to focus on restorative habits like deep breathing, grounding outside, or diffusing calming oils like Valor, Lavender, or Stress Away.  Breathing (Respiration Rate)

This number tells us how many breaths a person takes per minute. Most healthy adults rest between 12–25 breaths per minute. If it’s outside that range, it might be a clue to dig a little deeper.

Breathing (Respiration Rate)
Breath Rate Tells the Story of Stress, Support, and Symptom Load

This number tells us how many breaths a person takes per minute
Most healthy adults rest between 12–25 breaths per minute.
If it’s outside that range, it might be a clue to dig a little deeper.

Questions to ask if breathing rate is high or low:
  • “Have you been feeling anxious, short of breath, or under pressure?”
  • “Any recent illnesses, sinus issues, or asthma flares?”
  • “Do you notice shallow breathing during the day or while sleeping?”

Remind them: nasal breathing, slowing down, and grounding exercises can make a huge difference — and oils like RC, Raven, or Frankincense can help support respiratory function.

Skin Age
Now this one’s always a conversation starter! Some folks love their number, some... not so much
The app estimates your skin age based on facial scan data. Factors like sun exposure, oxidative stress, fatigue, and skincare can all affect it.
Don’t just take the number at face value — compare it to their actual DOB and look at the bigger picture.
I've seen skin age dramatically improve after adding antioxidants like NingXia Red, Sulfurzyme, or topical oils like Frankincense or Manuka.

Mental Stress Index (MSI)

This one’s so helpful — most people fall right in the middle with a score of 3, which means moderate stress.
If it’s a 4 or 5, that tells me we may need to dig into emotional or nervous system support.

A high MSI isn’t something to panic over — but it is something to pay attention to.
What I like to ask:
  • “Does that score surprise you, or feel pretty accurate?”
  • “Have you had more emotional or mental stress lately than usual?”
  • “How do you unwind or recharge when life feels heavy?”

Use what they say here to guide suggestions — from sleep support and nutrition, to oils like Peace & Calming, Copaiba, or emotional blends like Inner Child or Release.

FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE SUMMARY PAGE
 It’s just the first layer

Encourage your clients to tap each tile and read through what the app provides — it’s a goldmine of education.

We’ll connect more dots as we go through the rest of the scan together — but this is your first glimpse at what the body’s trying to tell you.

And when you listen close… the body will always speak truth.

Exploring the Systems Page
Let’s find where the body needs support — and how to help it naturally

This is one of the most insightful parts of the Visera Scan — the Systems Page.

It organizes results into three major categories:
  • Core Body Systems (Detoxification, Gastrointestinal, Hormonal/Endocrine, Immune)
  • Lifestyle Areas (Diet & Nutrition, Hydration, Inflammation, Mental Stress, Sleep, Toxic Stress)
  • Emotions (a section all its own — and we’ll talk more about that in a moment)
Each category shows how many biomarkers are in range versus out of range.
This gives us a clear picture of which systems are under stress — and where we want to focus first.

Pro Tip: Look for the categories with the fewest biomarkers in range — these are your top priorities for support.
Navigating Each System Tap on any of the systems to dive deeper.

You’ll see two major areas:
  • Biomarkers and Top 5 Products

________________________________________________________________________
The Systems Page cont...

Let’s break that down:

  • Top 5 Products Under each system, you’ll find five recommended Young Living products to help bring balance.

Next to each product, there’s a blue circle with a number inside.

That number tells you how many biomarkers within that system are helped by the product.

Example: You're looking at the Detoxification System and see Abundance Essential Oil Blend with a blue “3” beside it.
That means it supports 3 biomarkers in the Detox system.

Now tap on the product — you’ll see a second number. Maybe it says “35.”

That means Abundance supports 35 total biomarkers across all the systems scanned.

Product Details That Matter:
Beneath each product, Visera gives you a goldmine of info:

  • Related Systems (other areas that benefit from this product)
  • Product Indications (how it physically supports the body)
  • Emotional Indications (what feelings or patterns it may help release)
  • Biomarkers Brought Into Range (where it's most effective)

Any word that's underlined? Tap it.

It’ll pop up with a simple definition or explanation.

Example: Tap the emotion “Fear” and you’ll see: “Fear is the word we use to describe our emotional reaction to something that seems dangerous.”

Encourage your client to explore these. The depth and clarity Visera provides can be life-changing.

Understanding the Biomarkers Below the top products, you’ll see a list of biomarkers connected to that system.
By default, they’re listed alphabetically — but I always suggest changing the filter.
  • Tap the filter icon in the top right and choose: “Sort by greatest out of range” — this will help you and your client quickly spot the biggest stress points. Each biomarker has a gray bar that shows how far it's out of balance compared to the body’s baseline.
  • The farther it stretches, the more support that area may need.
  • Tap the blue “!” icon beside the product to open a detailed description: These are the body’s responses to each specific biomarker scanned in this system...
  • Pay special attention to out-of-range items with higher numbers compared to the baseline. Also notice how these biomarkers may relate to each other or to the top products recommended above.
Repeat this process with the top 2–3 systems showing the most imbalance. That’s where you’ll likely see the biggest shifts by offering targeted support.

Don’t Skip the Emotions

This part is powerful. The Emotions category isn’t measuring physical biomarkers — it’s tuning into emotional energy and how it may be affecting the body.

Some of your clients may be carrying emotional weight for so long, they don’t even realize it anymore.

  • This section often brings clarity… and sometimes even tears. And that’s okay.
  • Keep a tissue box nearby, and hold space for whatever comes up.

Help them explore:
  • What emotion is showing up most strongly?
  • Is this emotion familiar to them?
  • Could this be something they’ve been holding onto, perhaps unconsciously?

Remind them: Emotional support is just as important as physical. Oils like Release, Trauma Life, Valor, or Sacred Mountain can gently help process and release stuck emotions.

 Wrap-Up for This Section:
The Systems Page is where strategy meets heart. It takes all the raw data and turns it into a personalized wellness plan — using oils, supplements, and simple lifestyle shifts.

Use this page to guide your conversations, educate your clients, and empower them with clarity they’ve never had before. This is the beginning of truly listening to the body — and helping it heal the way it was designed to.

What If Your Emotions Are Speaking Through Your Body?”
Understanding the deeper emotional connections in your Visera Scan

A Quick Note
About Biomarker Sorting

This is the only place in the scan where biomarkers are shown with client-specific numerical values — not just listed alphabetically.

That’s why I always recommend sorting them from “greatest out of range” to “least out of range” using the filter in the top right corner.

In other areas of the scan, you’ll see biomarkers again, but they’ll be listed alphabetically — without numbers tied to how far out of range they are

This step helps us focus on what’s truly most urgent or out of balance — instead of just scanning down a long list and guessing what’s most important.

Understanding the Products Tab
Your personalized product lineup — designed to bring the body back into balance

The Products Tab shows you the top recommended products from the entire Visera Scan — not just what was highlighted in the individual systems.

This list is created using the complete scan data and shows what products are most likely to support your body right now.

You’ll usually see 10–14 products listed here — all pulled from Young Living’s entire product catalog. And yes, they’re listed in order of importance, not randomly.

What the Numbers Mean
  • Next to each product is a blue circle with a number inside. This number tells you how many of your out-of-range biomarkers would move into balance by using that product.
Example:
If you see NingXia Red – 44, that means 44 biomarkers in your scan would benefit from NingXia Red.

Now that’s what I call a powerhouse product.

 Add to Shopping List
To the right of each product is a little checkbox. Tap the checkbox, and you’ll see a bar pop up that says: “Add to shopping list +”

This creates a personalized shopping list for your client! They can view it later or even export it via email.

Brand Partners Tip: You can set up your custom Young Living link in the Settings of the Visera app.
That way, your clients can shop directly through your link — and you’re supporting your business while supporting their wellness!

  • Tap to Learn More
Each product has a full information page that includes:
  • Related Systems it supports
  • Product Indications (how it helps the body)

Biomarkers brought into range (listed alphabetically)
This is a great area to focus on if your client only has a few minutes. Even a short review of these product pages gives them clear direction and solid next steps.

“Why did that product show up?” Sometimes the recommendations will totally make sense — and sometimes they might surprise you.
That’s okay!

I’ve had ParaFree show up for someone who didn’t have the Parasites biomarker out of range, but their Detoxification System was under stress. When I looked at the ingredients in ParaFree, I saw how beautifully it supports the liver — and suddenly, it made perfect sense.

  • The scan works through frequencies — so sometimes the “why” takes a little digging. That’s where we grow in our understanding of the products, the body, and how they work together.
  • Bonus Resource: Seeds of Thyme App

Seeds of Thyme App
This is my favorite Young Living reference app

I love using the Seeds of Thyme app as a quick reference while reviewing scan results. It’s like having the old Desk Reference right on your phone!
It lets me quickly swipe between the Visera app and Seeds of Thyme to explain product details, ingredients, and uses in plain language.

For just $0.99/month or $8.99/year, you get:
  • Trusted oil education
  • Usage tips
  • Recipes
  • Cross references for thousands of wellness concerns

Seriously, if you’re a Brand Partner or simply want to better understand the “why” behind the scan recommendations, it’s worth every penny.

Final Encouragement
  • Don’t get too hung up on trying to make every recommendation “make sense” at first glance.
  • Trust the process, and let the scan guide the conversation.
  • Many of the most powerful shifts I’ve seen in clients came from products we almost ignored — but thank goodness we didn’t.
This tab is one of the best places to start — especially for brand partners who are building protocols, wellness plans, or product recommendations for their families or clients.

Exploring The Services Tab
Because true wellness takes more that just products- sometimes the body needs hands-on help.
The final tab on the Visera Scan is the Services Tab, and y’all — it’s one of the most underrated tools in the whole scan.
This section pulls from a growing library of over 225 professional wellness services, and it highlights the top 5 that would most benefit the person scanned based on their current biomarker results.

Think of this as a natural extension of the scan — pointing toward real-world support that works hand-in-hand with oils, supplements, and lifestyle shifts.

What You’ll See:
  • Each of the five recommended services is listed with a blue circle beside it, just like the products tab. That number shows how many biomarkers would be brought into balance by receiving that particular service.
  • You can tap on any service to read a brief description and even explore more about what it is and how it helps using the "Learn More..." option.
It All Connects
This tab is especially helpful when confirming patterns you’re already seeing in the scan.
Example: If the Gastrointestinal System shows stress, the products recommended are EssentialZyme and Life 9, and biomarkers like Candida Albicans and Amino Acids are out of range — then seeing Stool Testing or Colon Hydrotherapy on the Services tab is like the final puzzle piece clicking into place.

Use these insights to build trust, confidence, and clear next steps for your client’s wellness journey.

 Support Beyond the Screen
One of the best things you can do with the Services tab is use it to build bridges in your local community.

Whether you’re connecting clients with trusted professionals for massage, homeopathy, lymphatic drainage, or colonics — or offering services yourself like Raindrop Technique or EFT — this feature helps you extend the healing beyond what you sell.

Want to grow your network? Start by referring out.
Professionals love working with those who send business their way — and referrals often come right back around to you.

Coming Soon in the Mini-Course I’ll be teaching more about how to use this section for client education, referral relationships, and even new service ideas for your own business in the upcoming VIP Mini-Course — stay tuned!

Final Thoughts The Services Tab may just be the encouragement someone needs to finally book that session, try something new, or dive deeper into their healing journey.

Every part of this scan — including services — is here to offer clarity, support, and actionable insight.
And this tab reminds us: we’re not meant to heal alone.
